Owner Rena Wilhelm is a 15+ year residential interior designer & life long fine artist, whose work background also includes visual merchandising and retail management.
While she remains the head curator of the merchandise that is featured in the shop, her personal artistic work is ever evolving. A lover of nature, Rena's main influences are botanicals, trees & wildlife with nods towards farming, sea-life & nostalgic familial memories. Rena’s artistic talents are quite vast, however the shop currently features her pen & ink illustrations, watercolor paintings, decorative painting, photography, sewing projects & her personal line of handmade jewelry.
Co-owner & husband, Jason Wilhelm’s professional experience includes carpentry, construction & fine furniture restoration, it is his intrinsic nature to create art from found objects that has become his signature.
While in the carpentry business, found objects like nuts, bolts, nails & scrap metal turned into wonderful works of art. He has also created 3-dimensional paintings using caulking guns, acrylic paints & a putty knife. In the shop Jason's work encompasses mostly metal & wood working but he also tinkers with repurposed driftwood, silverware, and other materials.
